Hi all,

I am now qualified as a level 2 instructor and am now studying my level 3 module. I have a company name all booked up and also domains etc. I don't believe there is any legalality issues behind teaching some PT sessions but what are your thoughts?

My prices would obviously reflect the qualification and would be doing it part time whilst I still work full time in an office environment. I just thought it would be a good way to start getting up clients and experience for when I have more qualifications under my belt.

I already have a couple of sessions being auctioned off for charity via a friend and also training a few friends for free.

All input would be greatly received.

Hi Luke,

First of all, good work with the charity auction sessions. A real winner in all possible ways!

I'd give REPs a call mate and ask for advice, let them know what you plan to do and where your heading. They are always very helpful people to talk with.

Level 3 says you are an advanced personal trainer. Level 2 says you are a Fitness Instructor.

I'm not sure about insurance being covered if the qualification says you didn't have the knowledge?? Even if you do...

Cheers Matt.

I will give REPs a call then. Maybe it could purely be basic sessions (running, HIIT etc) whilst I am still ramping up for my level 3. I am just itching to do something really especially as I have jumped the gun with forming the company etc:rolleyes:

Will hopefully have passed level 3 by the end of March so might just try and get a part time instructor job and gradually build my website etc during that time.
