thats an extra 26 new clients every year! for minimum effort!
its not enough just to have a nice looking site, it must be on googles home page

Hi guys,

This is Alan Harrington (aka Personal Trainer Essex on 07833 375065) - I have just joined the forum section of pthub, so I thought I should say a quick " Hi !!! "

Before I go on, can I first thank the guys behind the pthub for such an interesting, entertaining and informative website - Well Done ! Somebody needed to do it !

OK, let me get to the point. I have just moved to Chingford in East London and am trying as hard as I can to quickly establish a decent client base in this area.

I designed a very quick 2 page website http://www.personaltraineressex.co.uk but although I can now find it on some of the search engines, I am not getting that many enquiries. (OK, hardly any - only 1 in over a month).


I read on this forum that having a website should easily be able to get you at least 2 new clients every month - What on earth am I doing wrong. ?

Dunno how many enquiries you need to actually get 2 new clients each month - I am guessing at least 10 or more.

I also read your suggestion that I should always include my name and web site address in my forum signature, so when I take part in the discussions, search engines will pick up my web address and I might get a slightly higher listing on Google. I had read this somewhere else before.

But now I have hit a snag !

I followed the instructions as to how to do this but when I hit the submit button I found that both my company name and the website address had been censored, because it contains the banned word -*s*e*x*- (Shock, horror !)

Sorry guys, isn't this censorship gone mad ! The offending word is just part of the name of the county where I operate not some devious ploy to get extra traffic to my website.

So, 2 big favours, firstly, can my name and web address be shown without censorship. Hopefully I might then move up a notch in the search engine rankings

Secondly, if you are based in either East London or Chingford and you have too many clients already and can pass any my way that would be great. The phone number again is 07833 375065 .

well spotted, i have now changed it so that essex shows up!
i was getting a little fed up of all the spammers so banned a few words
but now its just as easy to delete the idiots posts :)
i hadnt realised it would also ban essex!!!

ive had a quick look at your website
i actually offer free templates for personal trainers (and some new ones coming out in about a week)
that are very SEO friendly and will help you get listed higher in Google

I'll drop you an email once ive released my new ones as you may well benefit from using one of these
