Being a beginner in PT i have a lot of unknown things to explore and i have a lot of questions running to my head right now...

Where to start?
Better to work in a gym or for yourself?
Where can i find jobs?
Freelance PT in a gym(Fitness First).Worth or not?
Where can i find PT sessions on DVD or Online so i can improve my communication skills related to PT job?
If you think that`s all then wait until i come with some new ones lol.

Where to start?
I am a couple of months into my personal training career, so am in a similar position. I would say, get yourself on some decent websites/forums for discussion, buy quality books and DVD's, have a niche/speciallity and stick to it. Don't try and cover things that you're not confident in.

Better to work in a gym or for yourself?
My plan is to end up working for myself. I have started in a gym to get more confidence and experience. If you see it as a life career, I would say start in a gym...build a decent client base and then move on when you feel you have hit your potential.

Where can i find jobs?
Go into gyms and ask. Online sites also have jobs.

Freelance PT in a gym(Fitness First).Worth or not?
Freelance sounds more lucrative, as you can earn more money per hour. Rents can be high, and my local fitness first has 18 PT's currently. The manager is only worried about getting his bonus (through getting as much rent as possible) so you won't be cared for, mentored or helped by the company.
