Looking to start a new career by attending and hopefully passing one of the available intensive PT courses in the West Midlands .
But where to begin ?
Certificate or Diploma ?
Such a wide variety of costs 2k to 5k ? (though to be fair the 5k is residential)
So many different Qualification bodies ?
aarghhhh , so confused .

Andy

I know what you mean about the choice of courses and providers as i've spent weeks of research and phone calls. I have decided that because I am in full employment and coach football at the weekends, have family commitments etc I'm starting with a Gym Instructor Course.

I've chosen Lifetime and after qualification I will take up my search again for a PT Course. I expect to see some developments in the next year or so with NASM etc becoming more popular in the U.K.

I did a diploma with Lifetime.

Most of it was home study, you book an exam and go to the venue for it. I had 2 weeks at a gym in High Wycombe for the level 2 & 3. Other than these, it was mostly home study and weekend cpd's.

I was level 2 within 4 weeks of starting and level 3 in 3 months
