Hi all,

to stop us all being serious with every post I thought I would share something funny with you that happened during a session yesterday.

Yesterday one of clients, a very lovely lady in her early forties, started her first round of squats. Now I must explain this lady is quiet proper shall we say, a true lady. So, she begins her squats as she rises from her 3rd squat a little (but very loud) fart leaks (or squeaks) out :D:confused: - ok so now what do I do? I heard it, she knows she's done it and she knows I've heard it - but she doesn't say anything, so neither do I (giggle in my head though). She begins her second set and low and behold another one pops out - so now there is no getting around it, she starts to giggle - once she goes I am in stitches and can hardly breathe. She took it all in good fun and we have vowed never to mention it again - does posting it on the net count as never mentioning it again???

Just wondered if you guys have ever had any funny/embarrasing moments whilst training people?

Hi Pove,

That is an embarrasing strory, I'm glad you have a strong enough relationship with the client that you can laugh about it and brush it aside.

I was training a client outdoors last summer and was ambushed by a group of kids with water guns - super soakers to be precise! It was just the cooldown my client and I needed after some hill running! :D

Great topic, I will have to jump on the fart band wagon as well, once when I was demonstrating a squat to a client (shocking) and then about 10 months later, the same client let one go when doing an assisted V-Up! Very

:D

Love both of those stories :D.

I nearly added to it yesterday with almost getting a full blown left hook from a client when someone poked me to get my attention and I lost concentration for a split second. Putting your PT on their ass would make for a great story!
